Choose a skill training route

Find a repeatable activity, its level gate and the supplies needed to keep it running.

Choose an activity, then its next milestone

Open a skill below and start with an activity or recipe whose requirements you meet. Equipment, spell and quest requirements are unlocks; they do not pay XP by themselves. Suggestion: keep materials that serve a second skill before selling them.

Choose an activity, then its next milestone
AthleticsTravel on foot and complete climbing, crawling and jumping routes for Athletics XP.
CookingCook raw fish and meat at a cooking station. Completed attempts grant Cooking XP.
CraftingOpen geodes, cut gems, recover Engineering parts from scraps, and craft equipment and wool capes. Turn beetles into dyes: basic colours at Crafting 1, special patterns at 25. Dye capes or Masterwork armour at a Crafting table.
DefenceChoose Balanced or Defensive to train through attacks. Enemy hits and Guard also grant XP on victory.
DexterityUse daggers or bows. XP follows your damage when the enemy falls.
DivinationFind hidden, temporary scroll fragments with an equipped Tindle. Activate raw crystals into essence and enchant gem-set jewellery at an Arcane source. Original fragment discoveries, completed Concord expeditions and binding a Hollowed pendant grant Divination XP; higher levels sense farther and reveal rarer scrolls.
EngineeringBuild equipment at an Engineering bench. Install, repair and dismantle enhancements using recovered parts. Its skill tree supports bench work, components and enhancements.
FiremakingFeed Firewood into your placed fire to train Firemaking. Invest in its skill tree to improve field preparation, feeding and fuel use.
FishingCatch daytime fish at Fishing 1, 10 and 25. Night fishing with Firefly bait starts at 25, with further catches at 30 and 40. Successful catches grant Fishing XP.
FletchingFletch bows and Arrows, or turn Logs into Firewood and Wooden sticks.
HerbloreGather useful wild plants for herbs, Seeds and Plant fibre; brew healing draughts.
HuntingCatch wild beetles with your bug net from Hunting 1 to 70; rarer species grant more XP and yield special dyes. Catch fireflies at night for bait, butterflies by day for dust, and glowing night moths for coloured lanterns. Follow deer tracks or use bird traps for other Hunting rewards.
MagicDeal direct spell damage to train Magic when the enemy falls. Casts consume Arcane essence; basic lessons and learned scrolls have their own Magic requirements.
MiningMine Iron ore, Sandstone, Granite walls, Arcane crystal and Gold ore from Mining 30. Stone deposits may also yield geodes. Arcane crystal rarely yields Soul Gems; higher Mining improves their quality.
SlayerTake assignments from Kael Ashward at the Gloamwood watch fire. Defeat assigned Gloamthorns, Firewolves (Slayer 15) or Whispers (Slayer 25) for Slayer XP, then return for gold, bonus XP and Slayer points.
SmithingSmelt metal and forge metal equipment.
StrengthUse swords or heavy crossbows. XP follows damage when the enemy falls.
SummoningCapture the souls of defeated combat creatures in Soul Gems. Command one companion, assist your own work, carry more, or manifest bound weapons and tools. Open Summoning to study lessons and manage your collection.
SurvivalPurify water, discover new places and resource sites, gather new resources, and recover at campfires after meaningful victories. Discoveries are recorded in Quests & Lore. Prepare simple meals at a burning fire from Survival 5, Rope and Bowstring from 15, selected draughts at a burning fire from 25, and selected Engineering recipes on site from 35. No carried mortar or tool roll is required; each recipe retains its own skill and ingredient requirements. Its skill tree supports water purification, field work and packed supplies.
ThievingPick chests in Traders Camp with a Lockpick. Failed attempts give a little Thieving XP; opening it gives more. A pick can break, and the chest has a shared cooldown.
VitalityDefeat enemies: actual damage contribution.
WoodcuttingCut timber and gather logs.

Budget supplies and rewards separately

Use the exact recipe inputs per operation, or the gathering tool and time condition. A possible drop, variable quality result or original-discovery reward is not a guaranteed repeating supply. Compare realistic routes using what you can currently reach; these guides do not claim a fastest XP-per-hour method.
