The Stonemason
On this page
The Stonemason is a boss in the F0 test world.
Combat strategy
Prepare healing and a way to deal sustained damage before entering Abandoned Quarry. The current encounter has 720 HP. Read the named intent and spend your own turn repositioning before ending it. It grows more dangerous as its health falls. A ranged attack, shock or falling stone can be followed by an advance and Crushing fists when actions remain; do not assume one attack ends its turn.
| Crushing fists | 28 | Move behind it or beyond its melee reach before impact; Guard reduces a blow you cannot avoid. |
| Boulder throw | 46 | Move away from where you stood when this intent was chosen. Keep space for a possible advancing fist afterwards. |
| Stone sweep | 36 | Its frontal sweep covers a wider angle than its fists; get behind it or leave melee range. Guard if you cannot clear it. |
| Faultline shock | 62 | Move far from the boss or Guard. After the shock, watch for an advance and another fist if it has actions left. |
| Falling stone | 40 | Change position before impact: stones target several saved positions, including players' positions. Avoid regrouping on those spots; a fist can follow. |
| Heartflare | 0 | This intent does no direct damage. Use the opening to heal or attack, then read the next intent. |
Claim your quarry reward
Earn personal participation through credited damage or eligible Guard contribution during this life of the boss. After the victory, stay in the arena, leave combat and interact with the crystal seam during the 240-second rest. One 2.4-second collection claims your personal bundle of 40 pre-rolled material rewards and 1200 base Mining XP. Make room in both crystal stacks. Repeated clicks do not create another bundle; the rare ring is a separate contribution roll, not a reward from each mining click.

Combat skills
Mining the fallen guardian
After the fight, eligible participants can mine the collapsed guardian during its 240 second rest. Each participant receives 40 pre-rolled rewards: each roll has an 80% chance of 1–3 Stoneheart crystals and otherwise 1–3 Deepstone gems. This is a special mining reward, not ordinary corpse loot.
Drops
Independent rolls can succeed together. Slayer assignment requirements do not prevent fighting; the Slayer level gates special drops. Rates describe source rules, not measured farming yield.
| Stoneheart ring | 1 | 1/250 (0.4%) | Separate contribution reward; automatic delivery |
