Capture and care

Carry a compatible empty Soul Gem and select a living Insectoid. Mark it through Summoning before the kill; binding pays essence and a failed capture returns the gem. Base capture chance grows by 0.2 percentage points per Summoning level above 45, capped at 35% including bonuses. Captured souls are individual items. Manifest one companion at a time. Upkeep consumes essence while online; logout pauses the active energy clock. Injured stored souls recover one HP per 60 seconds of real time, including offline and banked time.

Fixed role

The configured passive does not provide a bonus to an active skill.

Binding and manifestation costs

Bind a living creature within 6 m and clear line of sight. Binding costs 2 base Arcane essence, plus one bonus action if already in combat; you must contribute to the creature's defeat. A failed capture returns the empty gem, not the essence. Any Soul Gem of the minimum tier or higher is compatible, and success preserves the tier you chose. Manifesting a healthy captured soul in combat costs one action on your turn. Unused paid energy is retained; if no paid energy remains, manifestation purchases the next minute. Essence-cost talents can reduce paid costs, with a minimum cost of one.

Current source limitation

The configured passive targets an inactive compatibility slot. It does not improve Dexterity or any other active skill.
